Natural materials and subtle details in a two-story house in Zagreb
In this project, we embraced the Japandi philosophy of living - an open concept that connects the kitchen, dining area, and living room, creating fluidity within the space, ideal for gatherings and everyday life.
The design of this space is dominated by dark wood and light tones, bringing contrast into the interior while contributing to a sense of harmony. The floor-to-ceiling kitchen, finished in a warm wood veneer, is perfectly complemented by the wooden dining table and chairs, which subtly define the space and place the emphasis on gathering and spending time together.
The wood finish continues through every room and every form - as floor and wall coverings, furniture finishes, and wall panels - creating a perfect symbiosis between the different living zones. Abundant natural light through full-height openings further contributes to the feeling of clarity and openness.
An interior that celebrates the beauty of minimalism and emphasizes the functionality of contemporary design.
